Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday alleged that he was disrespected by some leaders, including Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu and BJP leader Sunil Jakhar, in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mann said he has repeatedly invited leaders to debate him on issues concerning Punjab, but no one has responded so far.
“I offered a debate several times, but so far no leader has come to talk about the issues of Punjab,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that BJP’s Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu has now accepted his challenge for a debate. He said that he is ready for any debate and CM Mann can choose a place and he will reach there for the debate.
