CM Mann visits flood-hit Gurdaspur, arranges relief for stranded villagers

Gurdaspur: In view of the severe flooding in Gurdaspur district, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited the Behrampur area of Dinanagar on Wednesday.

He observed that in several villages, residents, including small children, were stranded on rooftops without access to essential supplies.

Addressing the situation, CM Mann said, “Those who gave me the helicopter by winning the party with 92 seats are now seeing it being used to help the people.” He added that water, milk, and other ration would be delivered to affected residents via helicopters.

The Chief Minister also instructed the Deputy Commissioner of Gurdaspur to ensure swift relief measures. He personally checked the arrangements before leaving the site.
