Cold wave intensifies in Himachal Pradesh, Tabo records minus 5.5°C

Shimla: The cold wave has tightened its grip over Himachal Pradesh, with temperatures dipping sharply across several regions. Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti district recorded a minimum temperature of minus 5.5°C last night, according to the Meteorological Centre.

Keylong recorded minus 3.2°C, Kukumseri minus 2.1°C, and Kalpa 0.2°C. Dense fog enveloped Sundarnagar, while Bilaspur also witnessed foggy conditions.

Strong winds blowing at speeds of 35 to 39 kmph were reported in Rikongpeo, Tabo, Siobagh, and Kukumseri.

Several other parts of the state also experienced a significant drop in temperature as the cold wave intensified.
