Chandigarh: On the fourth day of the monsoon session of the Haryana Assembly, the opposition Congress created a ruckus over the issue of law and order.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, however, said that the matter had already been discussed a day earlier and did not require further debate. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan also ruled out a discussion on the issue.
During the Question Hour, Congress MLA Aaditya Surjewala raised a query on criminal cases in the state, to which the minister responded. Unhappy with the reply, Congress MLAs stormed into the well of the House and raised slogans.
They also objected to the use of the word “devil” by Chief Minister Saini during his speech the previous day, questioning to whom it was directed. Speaker Kalyan intervened to pacify the legislators.
