Faridabad: To mark 50 years since the imposition of Emergency in 1975, the ‘’Constitution Murder Day’ programme was organised at the HSVP Convention Center in Sector 12, Faridabad, on Wednesday.

Union minister and former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended the event as the chief guest.

The event began with the inauguration of a special exhibition highlighting the Emergency period.

Rare documents, news clippings, photographs, and visuals showcasing the government actions, civil rights violations, and media censorship during the Emergency were put on display.

Khattar, along with other dignitaries, visited the exhibition and took a closer look at the atmosphere and events of that time.
