London: Passengers at several European airports, including London’s Heathrow, faced difficulties on Sunday as disruptions from a cyber attack on the check-in and boarding system continued for a second day.
Officials said the cyber attack, which struck multiple European countries on Saturday, forced a large number of flight cancellations and delays.
Brussels Airport officials confirmed that the problem had not yet been resolved, with airlines cancelling nearly half of their scheduled flights.
They added that the technical issues linked to the check-in system remain unresolved, and efforts are underway to restore normal operations.
