Chandigarh: Dera Beas chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon on Sunday visited Bikram Singh Majithia at Nabha Jail. A large number of Dera Beas followers gathered outside the jail during his visit.
Gurinder Singh Dhillon met Majithia for around half an hour. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, he said that all allegations against Majithia were false. However, he declined to make any further comments on the cases registered against him.
The Dera Beas chief said this was his second visit to Nabha jail to meet Majithia, adding that Majithia is his relative, which is why he came to meet him again.
Before visiting the jail, Gurinder Singh Dhillon attended a family function of the descendants of Maharaja Ripudaman Singh. The event was also attended by several political and religious leaders from Punjab, including Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan.
