MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who has been hospitalised for several days, is in critical condition but remains stable, a film industry insider said on Monday. The 89-year-old actor has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai since last month.
An insider, requesting anonymity, said, “Dharamji’s health is not very good.”
However, a representative of his son, actor Sunny Deol, refuted reports claiming that Dharmendra is on a ventilator.
“Dharamji is still in the hospital. Doctors have not advised him to go home. He is recovering well and is being monitored. He is not on a ventilator,” the spokesperson said.
