New Delhi: The makers of Aditya Dhar’s much-talked-about film Dhurandhar have officially announced the release date of its sequel. Dhurandhar 2 will hit theatres on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid and Gudi Padwa.
An espionage thriller inspired by real events and secret operations, the film has been written and co-produced by Uri: The Surgical Strike fame Aditya Dhar. The first part, released on December 5, emerged as a blockbuster at the box office.
According to reports, Dhurandhar earned ₹597 crore in India, securing a place among the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films of all time. In view of strong demand from South Indian audiences and distributors, the makers have decided to release the sequel in Hindi as well as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, the film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Manav Gohil.
