Diljit Dosanjh makes history with sold-out ‘Aura 2025’ tour across Australia

Melbourne: Punjabi singer and global sensation Diljit Dosanjh has made history by becoming the first Indian artist to sell out stadiums across Australia during his ‘Aura Live Tour 2025’. Known for his electrifying performances and signature dialogues — ‘Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye’ and ‘Main Hoon Punjab’ — Diljit performed in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Before his Adelaide concert, the singer marked the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev by offering prayers for his team’s artistic success and the well-being of all.

Tim McGregor, head of TEG Global, said, “Diljit has a special knack for attracting people, which has resulted in more than 90,000 tickets sold.” Australian Senator Paul Scar also praised Diljit in the Senate, calling him a “role model for the youth.”

During his shows, the singer urged Punjabis to preserve their music, language and cultural heritage while upholding unity, humility and mutual respect. In Sydney, he invited a family on stage after noticing their outfit inspired by the attire he wore to the Met Gala, applauding their creativity.

Diljit’s next performance is scheduled for November 13 in Auckland, New Zealand.
