Chandigarh: Former Punjab minister Laljit Bhullar, who resigned after being named in the suicide case of warehouse district manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, was produced in court again on Sunday and remanded to three days of police custody.
Bhullar had earlier been sent to five-day police remand along with other accused after being presented before an Amritsar court following the registration of the case. The remand period ended on Saturday, after which police sought further custody citing ongoing investigation.
Randhawa died by suicide at his residence on March 21. Police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Bhullar, his father and his personal assistant.
