Bhopal: The Bhopal Crime Branch has busted a major drug smuggling racket linked to gyms, clinics and college campuses, exposing the growing demand for drugs among urban youth in Madhya Pradesh. Two drug peddlers have been arrested in connection with the case.

According to officials, many people struggling with obesity often consult doctors, gym trainers and yoga instructors to lose weight. While some manage to control obesity through diet and exercise, the racket lured youths by offering drugs as a shortcut for weight loss.

During interrogation, the arrested peddlers made shocking revelations, leaving the police stunned. Investigations revealed that the gang had deep connections within gyms and clinics, targeting young people looking for quick fixes to obesity.

The police are further investigating the network to trace the suppliers and other people involved in the smuggling racket.
