Kaithal: Local police have registered an FIR against the accused following the intervention of Haryana Minister Anil Vij. The victim had raised her complaint during a grievance meeting on Saturday, stating that she had been raped.
She also presented the minister with screenshots of threats she was receiving from the accused.
The woman alleged that despite having evidence, the police had not registered her complaint.
Minister Vij reprimanded Kaithal SP Upasana, who was present during the meeting, and directed that an FIR be registered in the case immediately.
