Udaipur: Udaipur, known as the city of lakes, is hosting the grand wedding of Netra Mantena, daughter of American industrialist Raju Ramalinga Mantena. Several Bollywood celebrities attended the sangeet ceremony held at Manak Chowk of the City Palace on Friday night.
The ceremony was hosted by Karan Johar and Sophie Choudhary. According to those present at the venue, actor Ranveer Singh energized the crowd with his performance. He also invited Donald Trump Jr. and his female friend to the dance floor.
Actress Kriti Sanon performed on her hit song ‘Param Sundari’ while Jacqueline Fernandez danced to ‘Lal Chadi’. According to the firm associated with the event, Varun Dhawan and Shahid Kapoor also delivered performances.
Netra Mantena is getting married to Indian-origin Vamsi Gadiraju. The wedding celebrations will continue from November 21 to November 24. Jennifer Lopez, a global music star, and South African DJ producer Black Coffee will also perform at the event.
Dutch DJ and producer Tiesto performed at The Leela Palace on Thursday night. Traditional Rajasthani dance troupes and other artists also showcased cultural performances. Wedding ceremonies will take place at Manak Chowk in Udaipur City Palace as well as at Jagmandir and The Leela Palace Hotel.
