New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday arrested Amir Rashid Ali, a Kashmiri national, from Delhi in connection with the Red Fort car blast case. His i20 car was allegedly used in the blasts that killed twelve people and left thirty-two others injured.
According to investigators, Amir and another accused, Omar, had allegedly planned the conspiracy together. Officials said the vehicle involved in the attack was traded through an online marketplace.
Earlier, a car dealer from Faridabad told the agency that the vehicle was purchased from him and that the accused had provided an ID and address linked to Pulwama during the transaction.
