London: The Indian cricket team was bowled out for 224 runs on the second day of the fifth and final Test against England on Thursday. Resuming at 204/6, India managed to add only 20 more runs as the remaining four wickets fell quickly.
Karun Nair, who started the day unbeaten, was dismissed for 57, while Washington Sundar contributed 26. Other notable scores came from Sai Sudharsan (38), KL Rahul (14), Shubman Gill (21), and Dhruv Jurel (19).
For England, Gus Atkinson starred with the ball, claiming five wickets, while Josh Tongue picked up three and Chris Woakes chipped in with one.
In response, England reached 98 for 1 at the time of filing this report. Opener Ben Duckett was dismissed for 43 by Akash Deep.
