Chandigarh: Baltej Pannu, Punjab unit general secretary and media in-charge of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), said law and order in the state is completely under control following the killing of the main accused in the Valtoha sarpanch murder case in a police encounter.
The main accused was killed today near Tarn Taran during a clash between the police and armed assailants.
Baltej Pannu said no individual, regardless of their influence, can take the law into their own hands in Punjab, and praised the Punjab Police for performing their duties efficiently.
He added that the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government is fully committed to strict action against criminals.
