New Delhi: Aman Bhaiswal, a key member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was brought back to India from the United States on Wednesday and arrested upon arrival at Delhi airport by a Haryana Police team. The operation was coordinated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Officials said a Red Corner Notice had been issued against Bhaiswal by Interpol. He was wanted by Haryana Police in connection with serious charges, including murder, inciting violence and criminal conspiracy.
A CBI spokesperson said Aman Bhaiswal is a dangerous criminal and an important operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He was earlier arrested in India but fled the country after securing bail and failed to face trial.
With the help of Interpol, his location was traced in the United States. Following this, he was successfully deported and brought back to India on January 7, 2026.
