Chandigarh: Simrandeep Kaur from Nabha in Patiala district has achieved a major milestone by securing All India Rank 15 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 results.
A resident of Biradwal village, Simrandeep’s achievement has brought pride to her family and the entire village. Following the announcement of the results, the family visited Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar to offer prayers and express gratitude.
According to family members, Simrandeep belongs to a farming family. She completed her postgraduate studies in political science from Khalsa College Patiala and cleared the prestigious examination in her fourth attempt.
Speaking about her achievement, Simrandeep said she wants to remain connected to her roots and hopes to work for the development of rural areas.
Her father Kuldeep Singh said the family was going to Sri Darbar Sahib to thank the Almighty for the success. He added that Simrandeep’s achievement would inspire many children from farming families, proving that dedication and hard work can help achieve any goal.
