NDA finalises seat-sharing for Bihar polls, BJP and JD(U) to contest 101 seats each

Patna: The suspense over the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections has ended. After several rounds of deliberations, the major partners in the alliance have finalised the division of seats among themselves.

As per the agreement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal (United) will contest 101 seats each, maintaining parity between the two key allies. The announcement has shifted the alliance’s focus toward finalising candidates and preparing for the grassroots campaign.

Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has secured 29 seats in the pact, reflecting its growing influence in Bihar politics. Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) have been allotted six seats each.

With this arrangement, the NDA has formed a broad-based electoral front ahead of the high-stakes assembly polls.
