New Delhi: Members of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Tuesday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, which were launched in response to the killing of 26 Indian nationals by Pakistani terrorists in Pahalgam on April 22.
As Modi arrived at the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting held at the Parliament Library building, MPs welcomed him with chants of “Har Har Mahadev”. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh garlanded the Prime Minister, and a resolution was passed congratulating him for the operations.
The meeting, chaired by Modi, coincides with the sixth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. Senior ministers and NDA leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda were also present.
This is the first major NDA Parliamentary Party meeting since July 2, 2024, shortly after Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister for a third consecutive term.
