Jalandhar: Jalandhar Central in-charge Nitin Kohli on Thursday held a crucial meeting with Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Rishi and Mayor Vanit Dhir to review development works in the constituency.
The meeting focused on public issues concerning 23 wards of the Central constituency, including sanitation, sewage, road construction, drainage, and other basic amenities. Kohli raised residents’ concerns and urged officials to ensure timely redressal.
The Municipal Commissioner and Mayor assured that civic problems in Jalandhar Central would be resolved on priority. Officials also reviewed the progress of decisions taken in previous meetings, noting that several works had been completed while the remaining projects would be finished soon.
Kohli said his vision is to make Jalandhar Central a model area in terms of urban development. He added that every ward should witness equal growth, with no shortage of basic facilities, and residents should get a clean, safe, and modern environment.
