Jalandhar News: Aam Aadmi Party’s Jalandhar Central Halka in-charge Nitin Kohli on Wednesday inaugurated a new tube well installed at Jawahar Nagar Tanki Wala Park in Ward No. 30, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 18 lakh.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Nitin Kohli said that the installation of the tube well will ensure clean drinking water for the residents of the area. He stated that the people of the locality had been struggling with water scarcity for a long time, and this project would now bring them major relief.
Kohli further said that under the leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party government, development works across Punjab are being accelerated. “Our objective is to ensure equal development in every ward and to prioritize essential civic facilities,” he said. “We work with the approach of ‘Sunaange Vi Te Karaange Vi’ (We will listen and we will deliver).”
Highlighting recent development works in the Jalandhar Central constituency, Kohli mentioned that several projects related to roads, parks, sewerage systems, and water supply have been initiated in recent months. He assured that development will continue in every part of the constituency.
At the conclusion of the program, local residents thanked Nitin Kohli, stating that the tube well was a long-pending demand of the community which has now been fulfilled.
Those present on the occasion included local councillors, Jawahar Nagar President Prabhjot Sidana, Secretary Amit Marwaha, Naresh Marwaha, Surinder Singh Bhapa, Rajinder Sehgal, Akhil Sharma, Gurbachan Kathuria, Ajay Chopra, Akshay Chaddha, Shiv Sehgal, along with area residents.
