Nitish Kumar tries to touch PM Modi’s feet after taking oath as Bihar CM

Patna: Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time on Thursday, while 26 MLAs took oath as ministers in his cabinet. Prime Minister PM Modi was present at the ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan.

After the event, Nitish Kumar accompanied PM Modi to Patna Airport. During the farewell, Nitish attempted to touch the Prime Minister’s feet but PM Modi stopped him.

Following the swearing-in, Nitish Kumar visited his residence at 1, Anne Marg, where he met his son Nishant. An emotional moment between the two surfaced as Nishant touched his father’s feet and Nitish hugged him.

During the oath-taking, Nitish Kumar shook hands with PM Modi. The Prime Minister also greeted the gathering by waving a towel. On the stage, Chirag Paswan touched the feet of JP Nadda and Jitan Ram Manjhi.
