New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 5 pm today, with expectations of a major announcement on the eve of Navratri.
Earlier on May 12, PM Modi had addressed the country after the success of Operation Sindhur, an Indian Army strike targeting terror camps in Pakistan.
In that address, he had said, “Every terrorist knows the consequences of erasing vermilion from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters. Operation Sindhur is an unwavering commitment to justice. The terrorists dared to erase vermilion from the foreheads of our sisters; that is why India destroyed the main base of terrorism.”
PM Modi had further said that Pakistan was preparing to attack India’s borders, but the Indian Army thwarted the plans by striking deep inside. He added that Operation Sindhur had redefined the fight against terrorism, setting a new benchmark.
