New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu has approved the appointment of new Governors for Haryana and Goa, along with a new Lieutenant Governor for the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to a statement issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday, Prof Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the new Governor of Haryana, replacing Bandaru Dattatreya.
Pushpati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as the new Governor of Goa.
The President has also appointed Kavinder Gupta as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
The resignation of the current Ladakh Lieutenant Governor, Brigadier Dr BD Mishra (Retd.), has been accepted, the statement added.
