Hisar: A sensational incident at Kartar Memorial Senior Secondary School in Bas Badshahpur village of Hisar on Thursday has shaken the area after the school principal, Jagbir Singh, was allegedly stabbed to death by two students inside the campus.
The incident took place on Thursday morning when two students attacked Jagbir Singh with a knife, causing serious injuries that led to his death on the spot. Panic and chaos gripped the school following the attack.
As soon as the incident was reported, local police reached the spot and began an investigation. Hansi SP said preliminary investigation revealed that Jagbir Singh had advised the two students to come with chopped hair and follow school discipline, which allegedly enraged them, leading to the attack. Both accused are minors and have not been arrested yet.
Police have started scanning CCTV footage of the school and recording statements of eyewitnesses. The SP said the exact cause and circumstances of the murder will be clear after the postmortem report and a detailed investigation.
