Mansa: A day ahead of Independence Day, workers of PRTC, Punjab Roadways and Punbus launched a strike on Thursday to press for their demands, causing inconvenience to commuters at bus stands across the state.
During a rally at PRTC’s Budhlada depot in Mansa district, the workers warned the Punjab government that the strike would continue until their demands are met.
A PRTC leader said a charter of demands had already been sent to the state government, and authorities were warned of the strike if action was not taken after August 13.
