Chandigarh: The Punjab government has approved a new industrial policy during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Speaking after the meeting, Mann said the new policy has been prepared after taking suggestions from industrialists and business stakeholders across different sectors in the state.
He said the government aims to strengthen Punjab’s industrial growth and create a more supportive environment for businesses. The policy includes inputs from various trade bodies and industry representatives to address challenges faced by the sector.
According to the chief minister, the initiative is intended to promote investment, generate employment and further develop the state’s industrial ecosystem.
He added that the government is committed to making Punjab a more attractive destination for industry and trade.
