Chandigarh: The Punjab Cabinet is scheduled to meet on November 14 at 4 pm at the Chief Minister’s residence in Chandigarh. The meeting has been called by the Cabinet Affairs Wing, officials confirmed.
While the agenda has not been disclosed, it is expected that the Cabinet may discuss convening a one-day special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha at Sri Anandpur Sahib.
The state government has earlier announced plans to hold the session in honour of the 250th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur.
With the Martyrs’ Day approaching, the Cabinet is also likely to deliberate on several other key matters related to the commemorative events.
