Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was readmitted to Fortis Hospital Mohali on Monday evening, hours after being discharged earlier in the day and attending a mega rally in Moga.
According to reports, Mann complained of breathlessness after returning from the rally. He was taken back to the hospital around 8 pm and is currently under medical observation.
Notably, the Chief Minister had been hospitalised on Sunday after his blood pressure reportedly spiked during a Maha Shivratri event in Dhuri, Sangrur. He was subsequently airlifted to Mohali for treatment.
On Monday morning, Mann had informed about his recovery through a social media post and later participated in the Aam Aadmi Party rally in Moga.
Doctors are monitoring his condition closely. Further details regarding his health status are awaited.
