Chandigarh: Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria was hospitalised at PGI Chandigarh on Thursday after suffering an injury.
According to PGI sources, Kataria slipped inside the Governor’s House in Chandigarh, leading to the injury. However, there has been no official statement from the Governor’s House regarding the incident.
A team of senior doctors at PGI is overseeing his treatment. The PGI administration said the governor had a minor slip.
Dr Vijay Goni from the Orthopaedic Department and Dr Rohit Manoj from the Cardiology Department have examined him.
