New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of colluding with the BJP, saying that the opposition’s India alliance is unitedly preparing for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference in Araria during the ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra,’ the Leader of Opposition said the alliance would release a joint manifesto ahead of the polls later this year.
“The India alliance will soon come out with a joint election manifesto for the Bihar assembly elections. The opposition alliance is working unitedly in all the constituencies and the results will be fruitful,” he said.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Election Commission failed to provide accurate electoral rolls in Maharashtra, Haryana and Karnataka. “It is clear that crores of people of Bihar believe in our claim of vote theft,” he added.
