New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday launched the “Vote Adhikar Yatra” in Bihar, targeting what he alleged was the “theft of votes.”
The yatra, which will cover more than 20 districts over 16 days, is aimed at raising awareness about protecting the democratic right of “one person, one vote.” It began from Rohtas and will conclude in Patna on September 1.
Leaders of the INDIA bloc are also expected to join the campaign. Gandhi has described the initiative as a fight to safeguard the Constitution and ensure that no voter is left out of the electoral rolls.
