AMETHI: A heated argument broke out between Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh minister Dinesh Pratap Singh during a high-level review meeting of central schemes in Amethi.
The exchange occurred on September 11 when the minister was reminded that members should seek the chairperson’s permission before speaking.
A video of the incident surfaced on social media on Friday and quickly went viral.
The argument took place during a meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA). Amethi MP and DISHA co-chairperson Kishori Lal Sharma, along with several MLAs and block heads, were present at the meeting.
