Jaipur: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal has been booked for allegedly raping a minor girl in Jaipur, marking the second such case against him this month.
According to the police, a girl living in Jaipur filed a case at Sanganer Sadar police station, alleging that Dayal raped her over two years on the pretext of helping her make a cricket career and by emotionally blackmailing her.
SHO Anil Jaiman said the girl came in contact with Dayal while playing cricket and was 17 years old at the time of the first alleged incident. It has been alleged that Dayal took advantage of her aspirations and continued to sexually assault her.
Police said that during the IPL-2025 match in Jaipur, Dayal called the girl to a hotel in Sitapura and allegedly raped her again. Troubled by emotional blackmail and harassment, the girl filed the complaint on July 23.
An FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered in the matter.
