New Delhi: A day after the Rashtriya Janata Dal’s (RJD) defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, party president Lalu Prasad’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, announced her decision to quit politics and cut all ties with her family.
Posting on her X account on Saturday, Rohini wrote, “I’m quitting politics and I’m disowning my family … This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do … and I’m taking all the blame.”
Her announcement comes amid internal turmoil in the RJD following its disappointing performance in the elections.
