New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey were honoured with the Best Actor award at the National Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Shah Rukh won the award for Jawan, while Vikrant Massey was recognised for his performance in 12th Fail.
Rani Mukerji was named Best Actress for her role in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
The awards were presented by President Droupadi Murmu. Shah Rukh became emotional as he received the honour on stage.
Meanwhile, a short film based on the life of Mohanlal was screened at the ceremony after the veteran actor was conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
