South Africa made four changes to their playing XI, bringing back Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, David Miller and Marco Jansen, strengthening both their batting and bowling departments.
On the other hand, India captain Suryakumar Yadav kept faith in the previous winning combination and made no changes to the team. India went into the match with players like Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya.
The bowling attack was led by Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, with Varun Chakravarthy as the main spinner.
However, India’s batting line-up collapsed under pressure. The entire team was bowled out for 111 runs in 18.5 overs, resulting in a comprehensive 76-run victory for South Africa.
