Mumbai: Popular comedian Sunil Grover has once again proved why he is considered one of the finest mimicry artists in the industry. On The Great Indian Kapil Show, Grover impersonated Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, leaving the audience in splits and earning high praise from the actor himself.
Aamir Khan reacted to the act in an interview and said he would not call it just mimicry. He said the performance felt so real that it seemed like he was watching himself. Khan added that he watched a short clip and now plans to watch the full episode. He said what he saw was outstanding and that he laughed so much he found it hard to breathe. He also made it clear that there was nothing offensive about the act and described it as pure entertainment.
The episode featured Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday as guests. During the show, Sunil Grover closely recreated Aamir Khan’s look, speaking style, body language and even his way of interacting with paparazzi.
It is worth noting that the current season of The Great Indian Kapil Show features Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover along with Krishna Abhishek, Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh.
