Washington: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday over the phone and thanked him for his cooperation in ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
Trump congratulated PM Modi during the call, which is being seen as an important gesture amid tensions between the two countries over trade tariffs.
“Just had a great conversation with my friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the phone. I wished him a very happy birthday. They’re doing a great job. Narinder: Thank you for your support in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine,” Trump said.
