London: After wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, US President Donald Trump reiterated his closeness to India and PM Modi. On Tuesday, Trump said he shared a “very good relationship” with the Indian leader.
The remarks came while Trump was addressing the media following a bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London.
“I’m very close to India and I’m also very close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I spoke to him recently and wished him a happy birthday. Our relationship is very good and he also made a very beautiful statement,” Trump said.
Earlier, Trump had praised PM Modi, saying he is doing a “very good job” as India’s leader.
