Yamunanagar: An encounter broke out between police and miscreants in Haryana’s Yamunanagar today after the latter opened fire on seeing a police team in Sadhaura.
In retaliation, the police also opened fire, injuring two miscreants in their legs. Both were admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
Police said the injured are residents of Jwala and Kanipala villages and are associated with the Venkat gang.
