Video shows Shehbaz Sharif entering Putin–Erdogan meeting during Turkmenistan forum

Moscow: A video circulating on social media shows Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefly entering a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of an international forum in Turkmenistan.

The incident reportedly took place during the International Peace and Trust Forum, where separate bilateral meetings were scheduled. According to accounts shared online, a meeting between Putin and Shehbaz Sharif was expected but did not take place as planned, with the Pakistani prime minister said to have waited for around 40 minutes.

Footage shared by Russia Today (RT News) shows Shehbaz Sharif entering the meeting hall while talks between Putin and Erdogan were underway. He remained inside for about 10 minutes before leaving.

In the video, President Putin is later seen exiting the hall and appearing to acknowledge journalists present with a brief gesture. Neither Russia nor Pakistan has issued an official statement on the incident so far.
