Chandigarh: Jathedar Jagdish Singh Jhinda has been unanimously elected as the president of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC), while Jathedar Angrez Singh Kamboj Ranian has been chosen as the general secretary.

This marks Jathedar Jhinda’s second term as president of the HSGPC.

In addition to the five office-bearers, six executive members have also been elected. These include Karnail Singh Nimnabad, Palwinder Singh Dard, Kuldeep Singh Multani, Rupinder Singh Panjokhara, Jagtar Singh Mann and TP Singh.

However, Jathedar Didar Singh Nalvi expressed dissatisfaction with the election process and described the election of office-bearers as a “murder of democracy.”
