Moscow: A delegation of Indian MPs, led by DMK leader Kanimozhi, faced a brief delay in Moscow as their flight was forced to circle in the air due to a drone attack in the area. The flight landed safely 45 minutes later.
The delegation, part of the ‘Komantri’ initiative following Operation Sindoor, arrived in Moscow on Thursday night on the first leg of a five-nation tour aimed at raising global awareness about Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism.
Sources close to Lok Sabha MP Kanimozhi confirmed that although the flight was delayed, she and the other MPs landed safely.
At Domodedovo International Airport, the delegation was received by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar and other officials.
