New Delhi: Former Law Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal on Saturday questioned the whereabouts of former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, expressing concern after Dhankhar’s sudden resignation.
Sibal said he had heard of the movie Missing Ladies but never of a “missing Vice President.”
Dhankhar resigned from the Vice President’s post on July 21, the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, citing health reasons. However, opposition leaders have claimed that he was forced to step down.
Sibal urged Home Minister Amit Shah to make a public statement clarifying Dhankhar’s location and addressing concerns about his health and well-being.
