New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again launched a scathing attack on the Election Commission, threatening its officials and accusing the body of facilitating vote theft for the BJP. This marks the second such outburst from the Congress leader in just over a week.

Speaking to reporters outside Parliament on Friday, Gandhi said, “The Election Commission is stealing votes. We have an atom bomb. When it explodes, the Election Commission will not survive.”

“We will not spare those working to steal votes in the Election Commission. You are working against Hindustan, which is treason. Even if you retire, we will find you,” he added.

This is not the first time Gandhi has issued such warnings. On July 24, he had said, “I want to give a message to the Election Commission. If you think you will get away with it, if your officers think they will get away, then you are mistaken. We won’t let you escape.”

In response, the Election Commission dismissed the allegations as baseless. “The Election Commission ignores such baseless allegations. Despite repeated threats, we ask all election officials to act in a fair and transparent manner as before. Irresponsible statements should be ignored,” the Commission said.
