Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday announced a new organisational structure for its Punjab unit to strengthen its presence in the state. The announcement was made by AAP’s Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia and state president Aman Arora.

The party has appointed five state vice-presidents, four general secretaries, and five secretaries. In addition, 13 Lok Sabha in-charges, 27 district in-charges, and 27 district secretaries have been named.

AAP leaders said the move is aimed at bolstering the party’s organisational base across Punjab. They added that more office-bearers will be announced in the coming days.
