Even Sukhbir and Harsimrat did not go to receive Majithia; Majithia stands isolated within the Akali Dal: Pannu
Punjab E News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu, reacting to the bail granted to Akali leader Bikramjit Singh Majithia, said that Majithia has been completely abandoned by the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) leadership and the Badal family.
Pannu said that although Bikramjit Singh Majithia, after coming out of Nabha Jail following the bail granted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, continued to make tall claims and boastful statements, the reality is that he did not even receive the support of the Akali Dal (Badal) leadership.
Pannu pointed out that apart from the party leadership, even Majithia’s close relatives Sukhbir Singh Badal and Harsimrat Kaur Badal did not reach outside the jail to receive him. This clearly shows that Majithia has been left isolated within his own family and party.
Baltej Pannu further said that when Bikram Majithia came out of jail today, the situation was such that not a single former minister or former MLA of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) was present outside the jail to receive him.
